Garo introduces new lighting pole for marine environments
Garo has launched the Koster lighting pole, designed for harbors needing illumination without integrated power outlets.
Swedish company Garo has introduced the Koster lighting pole, a product designed to provide efficient and comfortable lighting specifically for harbor areas. The primary function of this new pole is illumination, as it does not feature power outlets.
The lamp head is identical to other Koster poles and is equipped with a 5W GU10 LED lamp. Similar to other Koster models, this lighting pole can be fitted with a water tap and hose reel, enhancing its utility in a marine setting. The company has not indicated the inclusion of a residual current device.
The pole is equipped with a terminal block for connecting and looping cables up to 4 mm². Technical specifications include an aluminum housing, a grey color, a rated current of 10A, and an IPX6 protection rating. The pole stands 1300 mm tall and weighs 8.2 kg.
