Garo launches marina posts with three 3-phase sockets
Electrical installation company Garo has introduced new marina posts featuring three 3-phase sockets. These units provide high-output shore power connections designed for various vessel types in marinas.

Garo, an electrical installation company, has launched a new line of marina posts equipped with three 3-phase sockets. The Koster series, designated GMS E3 3F and GMS M3 3F, includes two IEC216-type and one IEC416-type 16A 3-phase sockets. Alternative models, GMS 3F and GMS 3FM, offer two IEC416-type 16A 3-phase sockets.
The marina posts are available with or without integrated energy meters, which are MID-approved for accurate measurement. These posts are designed to supply high-output shore power connections for both large marinas and smaller fishing boats, ensuring reliable power delivery.
Constructed from aluminum and adhering to the EN61439-3 standard, the posts feature an IPX6 degree of protection, making them suitable for harsh marine environments. They are designed for floor fastening and include a locking mechanism for added security. Each unit comes with a 16A 3-phase CEE socket outlet and integrated RCBO protection.
Complementing the marina posts, Garo offers a range of accessories, including single-phase and three-phase energy meters, time switches with astro functions, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), and residual current devices (RCBOs). These accessories allow for customization to meet specific installation and operational requirements.
