Electrical product manufacturer Garo is intensifying its focus on sustainable material choices and integration within its production processes. The company is systematically working to reduce its environmental impact and enhance the durability of its products across its entire value chain.

Garo conducts thorough evaluations of its materials, collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure responsible sourcing. The company aims to meet increasing market and EU sustainability requirements by prioritizing materials with a low carbon footprint, while reducing overall material use without compromising quality or safety.

Examples of this commitment include the use of Magnelis® in their cable cabinets, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and a reduced environmental impact compared to traditional galvanized sheet metal. Furthermore, Garo's grey switches now feature housings made from 100% recycled material, contributing to resource conservation and the circular economy.
