Gary Bird Appointed CEO of LumaCina
LumaCina, a supplier of sterile injectable pharmaceutical products, has appointed Gary Bird as its new Chief Executive Officer. Executive Chair Mark Crotty will continue to guide the company's long-term strategy.

LumaCina, a global supplier and marketer of sterile injectable pharmaceutical products and a Bridgewest Group portfolio company, announced the appointment of Gary Bird as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Bird's appointment is expected to accelerate the company's growth and expand its global portfolio of sterile injectables.
Executive Chair Mark Crotty, who appointed Bird, will continue to lead LumaCina's long-term strategy and oversee platform development. Bird's role will focus on the company's day-to-day operations and its next phase of expansion, working in close partnership with Crotty.
Bird brings over three decades of leadership experience within the Australian pharmaceutical industry, specializing in commercial strategy, market expansion, and partnership-led growth. His career includes leadership roles at companies such as Orion Pharma, Medreich, Meda, Johnson & Johnson, Sanofi-Aventis, and Pharmacia.
