Gary Sorsher Appointed Chief Quality Officer at BD
Medical technology company BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has named Gary Sorsher as its new Chief Quality Officer. The appointment follows the retirement of current Chief Quality Officer Jeff Silvestri.
FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. – Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology firm, announced Gary Sorsher will assume the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, effective September 8.
Sorsher will oversee BD's global quality organization and related functions. He brings extensive experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries to the role.
Jeff Silvestri, the current Chief Quality Officer, is set to retire on September 7. Silvestri has been with BD for over a decade, contributing to the company's quality management systems.
BD develops, manufactures, and sells medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment, and diagnostic products. The company aims to improve patient outcomes and enhance the efficiency of healthcare professionals worldwide.
