Film production company Gaumont is showcasing a slate of films at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. The festival commenced with the premiere screening of "Grace of Monaco," directed by Olivier Dahan and starring Nicole Kidman as the titular princess.

The Gaumont teams face an intensive start to the festival with the official presentation of "Breathe," the second film directed by Mélanie Laurent. Selected for the "Critics' Week," this dramatic comedy stars Lou de Laâge and Joséphine Japy in a story exploring the turmoil of teenage years.

Gaumont will also present "When Animals Dream," a Danish horror film directed by Jonas Alexander Arnby, which blends drama and science fiction. Additionally, the company is set to screen "The Target," a Korean remake of Fred Cavayé's "Point Blank." Other Gaumont titles featuring in the festival include screenings within Cannes Classics: Federico Fellini's "8½" and Gérard Oury's classic "Delusions of Grandeur."

The festival is scheduled to conclude with the jury's verdict announced on May 25.
