Gaumont's 'Squad 36' Reaches Top 3 on Netflix Global Chart

Gaumont's crime thriller 'Squad 36' (Bastion 36), directed by Olivier Marchal, has garnered significant viewership on Netflix. Within three days of its release, the film secured the third position on the global top 10 list for non-English films, attracting 7 million views and appearing in the top 10 charts of 57 countries.

The film follows Antoine Cerda, a police commander from the elite Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), who is transferred to the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) following a disciplinary sanction. Thirteen months later, two members of his former team are murdered within 24 hours. When a third member disappears under mysterious circumstances, Cerda initiates his own investigation, leading him into a dangerous internal police conflict.

Starring Victor Belmondo as Antoine Cerda, the film also features Tewfik Jallab, Yvan Attal, Juliette Dol, and Soufiane Guerrab. Director Olivier Marchal, a former police officer, is known for his realistic and immersive contributions to the French crime genre.
