The Coalition and Xbox Game Studios have released the full PC system requirements and feature list for Gears of War: E-Day. The game is set to launch on October 6, 2026.

The PC version will support several upscaling technologies, including Nvidia DLSS 5, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 3.0. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing will also be available, enhancing reflections, shadows, and global illumination effects. The game will offer support for HDR monitors and ultrawide displays, along with a built-in performance benchmarking tool.

Minimum requirements for 1080p resolution at 60 FPS (using upscaling) include an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600, 12 GB of RAM, and 115 GB of SSD storage. The recommended configuration for 1440p at 60+ FPS specifies an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, and 16 GB of RAM.

Highest settings for 4K at 60+ FPS will require powerful hardware such as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card, and processors like the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Intel i7-14700K. A 115 GB SSD is recommended across most configurations.

Gears of War: E-Day is set 14 years before the original game, detailing the first Locust invasion of the planet Sera and the early adventures of Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago. The title will be available on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PC.
