Geekplus and LPP Logistics Expand Warehouse Automation Across Europe

Robotics company Geekplus has expanded its partnership with LPP Logistics, the in-house logistics provider for fashion group LPP. Together, they are scaling up automation in what they term a "warehouse of the future" designed to speed up and enhance the resilience of retail fulfillment across Europe.

The collaboration focuses on creating a replicable automation model that can adapt to evolving customer demands and seasonal fluctuations. Geekplus is supplying LPP Logistics with tailored robotic solutions, including RoboShuttle and P-series robots, implemented across multiple facilities. This approach aims to reduce integration complexity and accelerate deployment timelines.

The automation system reportedly offers 1.4 million automated high-bay storage locations and has achieved measured efficiency gains of 99%. The technology is designed to assist employees by reducing repetitive manual tasks and travel distances, allowing staff to focus on oversight and exception handling. The Geekplus system also enables continuous tracking and control of goods flow.

Across two LPP Logistics sites, more than 1,600 autonomous robots efficiently handle a wide range of fashion products. The warehouses utilize vertical space, with storage reaching approximately 12 meters high. The companies emphasize the system's scalability, allowing for capacity expansion in line with demand and inventory growth.

Geekplus stated the partnership helps LPP Logistics address the fashion industry's challenges of high-volume, fast, and reliable fulfillment. The company provides high-density solutions with the flexibility to increase capacity over time.
