Geely Auto's Half-Year Net Profit Decreases 2%, Revenue Grows 15%
Geely Auto reported a net profit attributable to the parent company of 9.09 billion yuan (approximately $1.25 billion) for the first half of 2026, a 2% decrease year-on-year. The company's revenue increased by 15% during the same period.

Chinese automaker Geely Auto announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, revealing a net profit of 9.09 billion yuan (approximately $1.25 billion). This figure represents a 2% decline compared to the same period in the previous year, with the decrease likely influenced by factors such as increased operating costs or strategic investments.
Despite the dip in net profit, Geely Auto saw a significant 15% increase in revenue, reaching 173.6 billion yuan (approximately $23.7 billion). The company's gross profit also grew by 25.7% to 31.15 billion yuan, with the gross profit margin improving to 17.94%. This revenue growth was driven by an increase in vehicle sales volume and a higher proportion of sales from premium models.
However, the company's operating cash flow experienced a substantial decrease of 67.98%, falling to 19.92 billion yuan. This reduction could indicate a ramp-up in capital expenditures or changes in working capital management.
Looking ahead, Geely Auto plans to continue its strategic focus on globalization, premiumization, and intelligent vehicle technologies. The company aims to achieve its full-year sales target of 3.45 million vehicles and further solidify its position in the global new energy vehicle market.
