Geely Cyan Racing achieved its fifth win of the season at the latest round of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour in Vila Real, Portugal. The European leg of the 2026 season concluded with the team taking the lead in the Teams' Championship.
Yann Ehrlacher won the first race, with the team's other three drivers finishing within the top four. The Geely Preface TCR, utilizing its self-developed chassis, suspension, and powertrain, has proven competitive across a variety of circuits, from permanent tracks to street circuits.
The team now leads the Teams' Championship by 56 points. In the Drivers' Championship, Santiago Urrutia is in the lead, with Yann Ehrlacher in fourth place. Thed Björk and Ma Qinghua hold sixth and seventh positions, respectively.
Geely Cyan Racing uses motorsport competition to showcase its engineering capabilities. The series will resume in China in October, where the team aims to further solidify Geely's global presence and engineering prowess.
