Geely Cyan Racing Secures Fifth Victory in 2026 FIA TCR World Tour
Geely Cyan Racing achieved its fifth victory of the season at the conclusion of the European rounds of the 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour in Vila Real, Portugal, taking the lead in the Teams' Championship.
Geely Cyan Racing secured its fifth victory of the 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour season in Vila Real, Portugal. The win, achieved at the close of the European leg of the tour, also propelled the team to the top of the Teams' Championship standings.
French driver Yann Ehrlacher won Race 1, while the team's other three drivers finished within the top four. The Geely Preface TCR proved competitive across a variety of circuits, and the team now leads the Teams' Championship by 56 points. Santiago Urrutia leads the Drivers' Championship, with Yann Ehrlacher in fourth place, Thed Björk in sixth, and Ma Qinghua in seventh.
Motivated by these racing successes, Geely's broader global expansion is also accelerating. The company reported global sales of 1,100,373 units in the first half of 2026 and entered seven European markets within 45 days. The Geely STARRAY EM-i also became Australia's best-selling PHEV SUV in May.
The 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour will continue in China in October, with events in Chengdu and Zhuzhou, before concluding with the season finale in Macau. Geely Cyan Racing plans to leverage its European racing experience on home circuits.
