Geely Cyan Racing Secures Fifth Victory in FIA TCR World Tour

Geely Cyan Racing secured its fifth victory of the season at the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour's European rounds in Vila Real, Portugal. This win propelled the team into the lead of the team championship.

French driver Yann Ehrlacher won the first race, with the team's other drivers finishing within the top four. Throughout the European leg of the tour, held at circuits like Misano, Vila Real, Ricardo Tormo, and Paul Ricard, the Geely Preface TCR car demonstrated competitiveness across varied track conditions. Geely's in-house developed chassis, suspension, and powertrain systems proved effective on diverse circuits.

The team now holds a 56-point lead in the team standings. In the drivers' championship, Santiago Urrutia is in first place, followed by Yann Ehrlacher in fourth, Thed Björk in sixth, and Ma Qing Hua in seventh.

Geely utilizes motorsport participation to showcase its technical capabilities and enhance global brand development. The company reported worldwide sales of 1,100,373 units in the first half of 2026, alongside rapid expansion into seven European markets.

The 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour season will conclude in China with events in Chengdu, Zhuzhou, and Macau in October. Geely Cyan Racing aims to leverage its European racing experience to solidify Geely's presence in global motorsport and highlight its engineering prowess.
