During the record attempt, the Galaxy L700 achieved a combined system power of 830 kW and a peak wheel-end torque of 13920 Nm. According to Geely, the tested vehicle was a standard, unmodified production unit.
The Galaxy L700, anticipated for launch within the year, features a three-motor, plug-in hybrid, four-wheel-drive system with a differential lock. The vehicle boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 392 horsepower per ton.
Key features include Geely's proprietary GVMC dynamic control system, designed to allow the vehicle to navigate an 80 km/h moose test. The AI four-wheel-drive system supports automatic switching between front-wheel, rear-wheel, and four-wheel drive modes, and incorporates functions such as crab walking, zero-turn capabilities, and run-flat driving.
