Geely Galaxy Star Sells Over 800,000 Units in Under Two Years
Geely Galaxy announced it has surpassed 800,000 cumulative sales for its Galaxy Star model in less than two years. This achievement positions the vehicle as the top seller across all categories in China's automotive market.

<strong>New York</strong> – Geely Galaxy has announced that its Galaxy Star model has achieved cumulative sales exceeding 800,000 units. This milestone was reached in under two years since its launch, making it the top-selling vehicle model across all categories in the Chinese automotive market for the period of January 2025 to June 2026.
The Galaxy Star, the first compact car in the Geely Galaxy series, was initially released in October 2024. It quickly gained traction in the market, with the company reporting that it set a record for the fastest delivery of an A0-class pure electric vehicle, reaching 10,000 deliveries within 16 days.
An updated 2026 model of the Galaxy Star was launched in October 2025. By March 2026, the model had already surpassed 600,000 cumulative deliveries and was recognized as the top seller for the entirety of 2025.
The newest version of the Galaxy Star, which officially launched in May 2026, features upgrades such as independent suspension and the Flyme Auto 2.0 AI intelligent cockpit. Geely stated that improvements were made in driving dynamics, battery system, driver-assistance features, cabin experience, and safety. The introductory price for the new model starts at 61,800 yuan.
