Genesis, the luxury automotive brand of Hyundai Motor Group, has officially unveiled its new flagship SUV, the GV90. The vehicle is built on the eMP platform, developed specifically for Genesis's top-tier models, and features a 123.5 kWh battery and high-performance electric motors.

The GV90 is offered in two distinct design directions. The standard version features conventional doors, while the GV90 Neolun model introduces the Neolun Arch Gate concept. This design incorporates hidden B-pillars and coach-style doors that open independently, a first for such a door system.

Technological advancements include the brand's first roof-mounted airbag, dual electronic limited-slip differentials, multi-chamber air suspension, and a new power control system. The interior boasts a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system and a retractable central OLED cinema display.

Powering the GV90 is an electric drivetrain delivering a maximum output of 490 kW and 800 Nm of torque. The seven-seater configuration is rated for an estimated range of 500 km. The SUV supports 350 kW fast charging, capable of replenishing the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes.
