GenRobot AI secures $100 million in Series A+ funding
Beijing-based data infrastructure firm GenRobot AI has raised $100 million to expand its robot training data systems.

Beijing-based robot data infrastructure provider GenRobot AI has concluded a $100 million Series A+ funding round. The transaction was finalized during the third quarter, with the company confirming the details on November 2.
The investment round drew participation from a range of industrial and financial backers. Industrial participants include SAIC Motor, Baidu, Shoucheng Holdings, Galaxy General Robotics, and Malaysia’s Eastworlds. Financial firms, including GL Ventures, CITIC Goldstone, CCB International, and Huatai Zijin, also contributed to the round.
GenRobot AI provides hardware and software designed to capture human actions for robotic training purposes. The company’s systems record visual information along with movement patterns across industrial, logistics, and household settings. Its Matrix platform then prepares this data by cleaning, synchronizing, and labeling recordings for use by robotics developers.
The capital injection highlights the growing industry focus on high-quality data pipelines to improve robotic autonomy. GenRobot AI plans to utilize the funds to scale its technical capabilities and support the ongoing development of robot training evaluation tools.
