The companies will assess potential applications for AI and cloud technologies that could improve staff productivity, operational efficiency, and the overall guest experience. Specific financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
This initiative builds upon a prior relationship between the two entities. Alibaba Cloud previously supported the digitalization efforts at Genting SkyWorlds, Genting Malaysia's outdoor theme park.
Alibaba Cloud has also recently expanded its infrastructure in Malaysia by launching a new public cloud region in Johor, responding to growing regional demand for its services.
