German-Danish Youth Present Future Cooperation Project Results
German and Danish students presented the outcomes of their project focusing on future cooperation within the cross-border INTERREG region in Eutin.

German and Danish school classes presented the results of their project on future cooperation within the German-Danish INTERREG region in Eutin on December 1, 2017. Approximately 90 participants, including students, teachers, parents, and local representatives, listened to the presentations from schools in Ratekau, Oldenburg in Holstein, and Bad Schwartau.
The project aimed to foster intercultural understanding and develop shared visions for cross-border living. Students utilized Consideo's iMODELER tool to create models illustrating different perspectives and arguments for a common regional identity. The models addressed topics such as economy, quality of life, and free movement within the region.
Local politicians, including Peter Sönnichsen and Thomas Keller, expressed satisfaction with the youth's enthusiasm for European cooperation and saw potential for future implementation of the project's ideas. Sönnichsen emphasized that open dialogue and collaboration are key to advancing European cooperation.
Students proposed concrete measures, such as cross-border sports events and leagues, to promote youth encounters and a sense of community. The project's findings were documented and published on the project website, www.future-models.com.
