German Factoring Turnover Reached EUR 423.5 Billion in 2025
The total turnover of German Factoring Association members reached EUR 423.5 billion in 2025. The factoring market accounted for 9.5 percent of Germany's GDP.

The combined turnover of member companies within the German Factoring Association (Deutscher Factoring-Verband e.V.) reached EUR 423.5 billion in 2025, according to the association's latest market data.
The number of factoring clients exceeded 112,000 by the end of 2025. The factoring penetration rate, measured as the ratio of purchased receivables volume to the total German GDP, stood at 9.5 percent for the year. This figure highlights the growing role of factoring services in supporting German businesses' financial needs.
Despite this growth, Germany's factoring penetration rate remains relatively low compared to other European countries. Belgium leads with 22 percent, followed by Portugal at 19 percent and Spain at 17 percent.
The association currently comprises 47 member companies, representing approximately 98 percent of the organized factoring market in Germany. The published statistics offer a comprehensive overview of the market's performance in 2025.
