German Parliament Approves Artificial Intelligence Regulation Law

The German Bundestag has passed legislation concerning the market surveillance and innovation promotion of artificial intelligence (KI-MIG). This law aims to ensure the EU's AI regulation is implemented efficiently and effectively in Germany, while minimizing bureaucratic hurdles and fostering technological development.

Key figures involved in the legislative process, such as digital policy spokesperson Ralph Brinkhaus, highlighted the success in achieving a 1:1 implementation of the EU regulation and establishing clear responsibilities.
