German Pharma Associations Announce Changes to Drug Rebate Calculations
Leading German pharmaceutical industry associations have informed their member companies about upcoming changes in how manufacturer, price moratorium, and generic drug rebates are calculated and reported under German law.
Key German pharmaceutical associations, including Pharma Deutschland, vfa, BPI, and Pro Generika, have issued a joint notification to their member companies regarding impending changes to the calculation and reporting of drug rebates. The announcement specifically addresses modifications to manufacturer rebates under § 130a of the German Social Code Book V (SGB V), as well as adjustments related to price moratorium and generic drug rebates.
