Geumsan Insamju to Showcase Traditional Ginseng Liquor at Trade Fair
Korean agricultural company Geumsan Insamju, a Food Master-certified producer, will present its traditional ginseng liquor craftsmanship and products at the '2026 International Ginseng Trade Fair'.

Agricultural Corporation Geumsan Insamju, a South Korean liquor maker, will participate in the '2026 International Ginseng Trade Fair' held from October 2 to 11 at the Geumsan World Ginseng Expo plaza. The company will showcase its traditional ginseng liquor production techniques and flagship products, including yakju (medicinal rice wine) and distilled spirits made from domestic rice and ginseng.
At the event, Geumsan Insamju will operate a promotional booth offering live demonstrations of its traditional ginseng liquor production process and product tastings. The company aims to introduce its products and brand to domestic and international buyers and visitors. Geumsan Insamju holds the designation of Food Master No. 2 and Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 19 for its ginseng liquor-making technique.
The company's distinctive approach involves adding ginseng during the fermentation stage, before vacuum distillation, differentiating it from conventional ginseng-infused liquors. While preserving traditional methods, Geumsan Insamju is also modernizing its offerings with contemporary packaging and varying alcohol content levels to appeal to current consumer tastes.
The trade fair also serves as a platform for Geumsan Insamju's international market expansion. The company plans to engage with potential overseas buyers to identify new export markets and distribution channels, with a particular focus on the United States. Export voucher programs are being utilized to produce promotional materials targeting international consumers and buyers.
