GFI KerioConnect Integrates AI Email Assistant for Over 30,000 Organizations

GFI Software announced the integration of its Eloquens AI technology directly into GFI KerioConnect, an email and collaboration server used by over 30,000 organizations globally. This move aims to provide these organizations, many of which manage their own mail servers for data control and cost reasons, with AI-powered email assistance.

The integration was unveiled at the ZEBR.AI Roadshow Praha 2026. Unlike AI email assistants built for cloud-based services, Eloquens AI is designed to work within self-hosted KerioConnect environments. This allows businesses to leverage AI for tasks such as sorting emails, identifying messages requiring a response, and drafting replies, without needing to migrate their mail infrastructure.

Eloquens AI processes incoming emails to categorize them, moving newsletters and notifications to a separate folder while flagging messages that require user action. It can also generate draft responses in the user's own style for routine inquiries. These drafts are presented for review and sending, aiming to reduce manual workload and speed up communication.

The AI assistant is managed by administrators through the GFI KerioConnect console, offering control over activation for specific mailboxes and the ability to disable the feature. Mail data remains on the customer's server, preserving data privacy and control. The feature is available for GFI KerioConnect versions 10.0.9-10757 and later, with a 30-day free trial.

GFI Software provides AI-powered security and communication solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It is part of the IgniteTech group, which focuses on AI-first enterprise software.
