Ghana's Wingxtra Joins FasterCapital Program to Scale Operations
Ghanaian startup Wingxtra has been selected for FasterCapital's EquityPilot program, aimed at enhancing its cargo drone delivery service and supporting the company's expansion.

Ghanaian technology firm Wingxtra has initiated a collaboration with FasterCapital by joining its EquityPilot program. The program is designed to support the growth and scaling of Wingxtra's cargo drone delivery services.
Wingxtra develops GPS-navigated cargo drones with high payload capacities, capable of carrying up to 10 kilograms. The company's zero-emission drone platform targets deliveries in congested urban areas and time-sensitive medical shipments, operating on a subscription model.
According to the company, early pilot programs have demonstrated the drones' reliability and operational economics. The drones have been successfully tested for use cases including grocery delivery and urgent medical supplies.
The FasterCapital EquityPilot program will focus on refining Wingxtra's operational framework, ensuring regulatory compliance, and initiating B2B customer engagement. The initial phase of the program involves achieving measurable milestones, such as expanding delivery routes and validating subscription pricing.
