Gigabyte Integrates DCIM and AIOps to Enhance AI Software Performance

Gigabyte Technology is focusing on the advancement of AI software by integrating Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and AI for IT Operations (AIOps). This combination is designed to enhance the performance of AI hardware and streamline the deployment of new AI applications.

Data management solutions are proving critical in the AI development landscape. Gartner predicts significant growth in the IT Operations Management (ITOM) software market, with AIOps identified as having strong potential to drive business outcomes. McKinsey views AIOps as a foundational AI service that will attract substantial investment.

Gigabyte is introducing two key solutions: GIGABYTE POD Manager (GPM) as its DCIM software and MLSteam as an end-to-end AIOps platform. GPM aims to provide centralized management for expanding server clusters, ensuring efficiency and stability. MLSteam, on the other hand, focuses on streamlining the entire lifecycle of AI models, from development to deployment, by employing AI for process optimization.

"The market is moving towards integrating AI hardware and software to offer a total solution," stated Dr. Eric Ming-Chiang Chen, CEO of MyelinTek Inc., a Gigabyte Technology investee company. He clarified that these are not generative AI applications but rather DCIM and AIOps platforms that boost hardware performance and accelerate the time-to-market for new AI products and services.
