Gigabyte Launches AI TOP 100 B850 Workstation for Local AI Processing
Gigabyte has introduced the AI TOP 100 B850 workstation, designed to support high-end graphics cards for local artificial intelligence tasks. The system aims to provide significant local processing power.

Gigabyte has announced the release of its AI TOP 100 B850 workstation, a system engineered for local artificial intelligence workloads. The workstation is capable of housing either a single NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 or dual AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics cards.
The system utilizes a standard desktop architecture, featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor cooled by a 240mm AIO cooler, and an AMD B850 motherboard. It comes equipped with 128GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of SSD storage, and includes two PCIe Gen5 slots for high-speed expansion.
Powering the workstation is a 1600W 80 PLUS Platinum certified power supply. Cooling is managed by two 140mm fans at the front and one at the rear, creating a robust airflow path. The motherboard offers a 16+2+2 phase power design and provides extensive connectivity, including dual 10GbE RJ-45 ports, Wi-Fi 7 support, and a front-panel USB-C port with 20Gbps speeds.
Gigabyte states that the single RTX 5090 configuration can achieve a token generation rate of 64.9 TPS on a 32B model. The dual R9700 card setup supports inference for models up to 235 billion parameters and fine-tuning for models up to 110 billion parameters.
