GK Software Selected for LCBO IT Modernization Program
GK Software has been chosen as a technology provider for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario's (LCBO) extensive IT system modernization program, aiming to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Raleigh, N.C., USA – Retail software company GK Software has secured a multi-year partnership with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) as part of the organization's Future State Modernization (FSM) program. The LCBO aims to replace its legacy IT systems, including enterprise resource planning and point-of-sale, with updated commercial solutions.
The FSM program intends to improve operational excellence by integrating processes and data through technology. This initiative is designed to enhance customer experiences for both wholesale and retail clients, as well as streamline operations for employees.
Following a competitive procurement process, GK Software was selected alongside other technology providers such as Adobe, SAP, and Microsoft. GK Software's CLOUD4RETAIL suite will be implemented to support various point-of-sale and store inventory management solutions, fostering omnichannel capabilities and improving customer engagement.
