GK Software Solutions Available on AWS
GK Software SE announced its retail solutions are now available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This provides retailers with new cloud-based hosting options to accelerate digital transformation.
Schöneck, Germany – GK Software SE has announced that its key retail solutions, including CLOUD4RETAIL OmniPOS 5.19 and T+ Enterprise and Central EJ, Returns, and Loyalty, are now available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This expansion allows retailers to leverage cloud-based services for their IT infrastructure.
The new offerings on AWS, utilizing cloud-native services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) and Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), provide GK's customers with agility and scalability. This move supports the retail industry's digital transformation efforts, aiming to accelerate innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
GK CLOUD4RETAIL OmniPOS 5.19 is a comprehensive POS solution offering a unified platform for various retail formats. Its flexible platform supports modern store experiences, including contactless mobile payments and integrated payment processing. The T+ Enterprise solutions, in turn, enable real-time transaction analysis and processing from all enterprise sources.
These solutions are designed for seamless integration with AWS services like Amazon RDS, which simplifies database management in the cloud. GK's solutions are currently deployed in nearly 500,000 installations across over 60 countries, serving approximately 100,000 stores.
