Global Finance names KfW world's safest bank
US finance magazine Global Finance has again named KfW the world's safest bank. This marks the fourteenth consecutive time the bank has received this recognition.

Frankfurt – KfW has once again been recognized as the world's safest bank. The US-based finance magazine Global Finance has named the German development bank the world's safest bank for the fourteenth consecutive time.
The ranking is based on credit ratings and total assets. Global Finance annually evaluates the 500 largest banks globally. KfW's strength is underpinned by its stable position and long-term credit ratings from Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s, and Fitch.
The award was presented on October 15, 2022, during the Annual Meetings of the IMF/World Bank Group in Washington D.C. This acknowledgment highlights KfW's reliability and stability within the global financial landscape.
