Global Ordnance Holdings and Sparkz Partner for Domestic Drone Battery Production

Global Ordnance Holdings and battery manufacturer Sparkz have entered into a partnership to establish a domestic supply chain for drone batteries. The initiative aims to reduce reliance on international components for U.S. defense applications, addressing a significant bottleneck in the procurement of tactical unmanned systems.

Operations are scheduled to commence in early 2027. By centralizing manufacturing within the United States, the companies intend to meet federal requirements for locally sourced defense technology while securing the supply chain against geopolitical volatility. This move follows increased legislative focus on ensuring the integrity of critical technology components in the defense sector.

Sparkz will provide the battery technology expertise, while Global Ordnance Holdings will integrate these power solutions into its existing munitions and defense systems.
