Global Personalities and Humanitarians Issue Urgent Appeal for Peace

Geneva, July 13, 2026 – The International Spiritual Council for the Transformation of Humanity (ISCTH) has issued an urgent appeal involving global personalities and humanitarian actors, calling for peace and dialogue in response to current worldwide challenges.

The council emphasizes the necessity of addressing armed conflicts, geopolitical rivalries, and deepening ideological divisions, stating these issues impact societal structures and humanity’s future.

Several prominent figures have joined the appeal. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated, "Today, we must utilize every step to achieve a peaceful resolution for long-term peace through compromise." Nik Gugger, a member of the Swiss Parliament, and Ján Figeľ, President of FOREF Europe, also conveyed their support.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Cardinal Pietro Parolin have also contributed. The Dalai Lama stated, "Peace begins within each individual. Lasting peace cannot be achieved through violence, but only through compassion." Cardinal Parolin added, "More voices are needed for peace, more voices against the madness of the arms race, more voices for our poorest brothers and sisters."

Maitreya Dadashreeji, the visionary behind ISCTH, warned that divisive pursuits are intensifying and threaten human civilization and the planet. He specifically urged Russia and Ukraine to find a resolution and stressed the global responsibility to protect the Earth as its caretakers.
