Global Pivot Equity acquires 15% stake in Norwegian M&A platform Closva
Hong Kong-based Global Pivot Equity has acquired a 15% stake in Norwegian AI-driven M&A platform Closva. As part of the deal, GPE's Managing Partner will join Closva's board.

Global Pivot Equity (GPE), a Hong Kong-based advisory firm specializing in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, has acquired a 15% ownership stake in Closva AS. Closva is a Norwegian technology platform that utilizes artificial intelligence to simplify transactions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
As part of this strategic investment, Ulrik Hoksnes Karlsen, Managing Partner at GPE, will join Closva's Board of Directors. The partnership aims to leverage GPE's international investor network across Scandinavia, Europe, and Asia to support Closva's deal sourcing and market development.
Closva, founded by four Norwegian entrepreneurs, combines AI-powered technology with advisory support to streamline M&A processes. The platform targets a segment of the market where business owners often lack access to efficient tools and professional guidance during succession or exit planning.
The investment signifies a long-term strategic commitment from GPE, intending to provide expertise in cross-border transactions and market expansion for the Norwegian AI platform.
