Global Sources Hong Kong Shows Open with Focus on Used Mobile Devices, AI
The second phase of the October 2026 Global Sources Hong Kong Shows opened on October 18, featuring a dedicated pavilion for pre-owned mobile devices and AI product showcases. The event highlights new products and the growing secondary market for electronics.

The second phase of the October 2026 Global Sources Hong Kong Shows commenced on October 18 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, running until October 21. The event gathers over 2,100 suppliers and presents approximately 160,000 new products across four main categories: mobile electronics, smart home, lifestyle electronics, and sports and outdoor products.
A significant debut at the show is Asia's first B2B pavilion dedicated to pre-owned mobile devices. This initiative addresses the expanding global market for used smartphones, with projections indicating continued growth. The pavilion hosts nearly 60 companies offering professionally tested and data-sanitized refurbished devices, alongside recycling and export services.
Technology company Tencent is showcasing its AI ecosystem products for the first time, emphasizing delivery capability and mass production efficiency over novelty features. A dedicated "AI+ Theme Zone" with over 1,200 booths illustrates AI applications across various products and sectors, reflecting a shift towards practical deployment.
The shows aim to bolster Hong Kong's position as an international trade hub by providing an efficient platform for manufacturers and buyers to connect and finalize deals. Concurrent industry seminars and a showcase of Taiwan's AI supply chain are also part of the event.
