The summit will gather industry CEOs, medical professionals, academics, investors, and technology innovators to reflect on two decades of significant industry growth and explore its future.
The conference theme, "The Science, Art and Soul of Wellness," will examine the industry's evolution, marked by an increased integration with medicine. Topics will include breakthroughs in longevity science and women's health, alongside a renewed interest in traditional wellness practices and the emotional, spiritual, and creative aspects of wellbeing. New research on the global wellness economy will also be unveiled.
The summit will delve into the unprecedented integration of wellness with medicine, where advances in longevity science, women's health, and precision medicine converge with a renewed appreciation for ancient wisdom and the emotional, spiritual, and creative dimensions of wellbeing. The theme is designed to capture this pivotal moment with an agenda ranging from scientific advancements to neuroarts and neurowellness.
GWS Chair & CEO Susie Ellis stated that the industry is at a transformative point, where scientific and medical progress is merging with the timeless human need for connection, creativity, and purpose. Thai Minister of Public Health Patana Promphat noted that the chosen theme reflects Thailand's heritage, which has long embraced a holistic approach to health connecting body, mind, spirit, community, and nature, supporting Thailand's ambition to be a leading global wellness destination.
Discussions will cover the future of women's health and longevity models. Geroscientist Andrea Maier is scheduled to speak on longevity science, and Blue Zones founder Dan Buettner will share his perspectives on the future of longevity. Christopher Asandra will address opportunities in women's health and personalized longevity medicine. The Global Wellness Institute will also present updated economic research on the wellness sector during the event.
