Globus Medical (NYSE: GMED) and Nevro Corp. (NYSE: NVRO) have entered into a definitive agreement for Globus Medical to acquire all outstanding shares of Nevro in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $250 million. The deal, unanimously approved by both companies' boards of directors, is set to enhance Globus Medical's position in musculoskeletal solutions and broaden its portfolio in chronic pain management.

The acquisition brings Nevro's technologies, which focus on neuromodulation and other pain relief solutions, under the Globus Medical umbrella.
