GlycoNex Doses First Patient in Phase I Trial of GNX1021

GlycoNex Inc. announced today that the first patient has been dosed in the First-in-Human (FIH) Phase I clinical trial of GNX1021, the company's novel glycan-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), in Japan. This trial is focused on patients with advanced solid tumors.
The study is designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of GNX1021, as well as to assess its pharmacokinetics and preliminary efficacy. GNX1021 targets glycans, carbohydrate molecules found on cell surfaces that have been implicated in the development and progression of various cancers.
This marks a significant step for GlycoNex in advancing GNX1021 into clinical development. The company aims to provide new therapeutic options for cancer patients through this program. GlycoNex anticipates future results from the Phase I study.
