GMI Cloud raises $668 million in AI cloud funding

GMI Cloud, an AI cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2021, announced on October 1 that it raised $668 million in a funding round led by Archiv.

The round included participation from Nvidia, DSC Investment, Trend Micro, KB Investment, Kyobo Life Insurance, and KT Corporation. The company stated the funding will help bring more computing capacity online globally.

GMI Cloud, which describes itself as an AI cloud for compute, inference, and agents, reported that its contracted annual recurring revenue (ARR) has grown more than ninefold from its end-2025 level. The company's platform is processing approximately 4 trillion tokens per week.

This funding round follows a $82 million Series A round announced in October 2024. Nvidia's involvement aligns with its broader AI infrastructure strategy, including collaboration with CoreWeave to expand AI cloud capacity.
