Go Digit: Profit Down 37% in Q1 Fiscal 2026

Indian insurtech platform Go Digit announced a 37.5% year-over-year decrease in profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, reporting ₹86.4 crore (approximately $10.4 million USD) for the period ending June 30, 2026. This marks a decrease from the ₹138.3 crore profit recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Concurrently, the company's gross written premiums saw an 8.4% decline, falling to ₹2,730.9 crore (approximately $328 million USD) from ₹2,981.8 crore in the prior year's comparable quarter. Sequentially, this metric experienced a marginal decrease from ₹2,735.76 crore in the last quarter.

Go Digit's total income for the quarter stood at ₹2,359.4 crore (approximately $284 million USD), an 8.3% reduction compared to the ₹2,179.46 crore generated in the same period last year.

The reported figures indicate a challenging environment for the insurtech sector, influenced by factors such as increased claims and competitive pressures within the Indian market.
