Go World Travel Magazine (GoWorldTravel.com) has earned a Bronze award for Best Editorial Travel Website in the 2026 Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition. The awards were announced on October 6 at the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation (SATW Foundation) annual convention in Haywood County, North Carolina.
Go World Travel shared the honor with BBC Travel, which won Gold, and Azure Road, which received Silver. The publication's recognition was achieved under the leadership of Managing Editor Janna Graber.
The Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition is regarded as North America's premier travel journalism contest, named after pioneering broadcaster Lowell Thomas. This year, 26 judges reviewed 1,568 entries from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
