Authorities have been urging tech giants like Google and Microsoft to directly report instances of child abuse content involving India. This is due to concerns that the existing reporting system is causing significant delays in addressing such material.

Google has reportedly increased its investments in detecting, deterring, removing, and reporting child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The company regularly takes down hundreds of thousands of content pieces and accounts in India through automated detection tools.
