Google and Henry Cavill collaborate on AI-developed game Mustache Protocol
Google has partnered with actor Henry Cavill to release Mustache Protocol, a side-scrolling game developed using AI tools on the new Googlebook laptop.
Google has unveiled Mustache Protocol, a 16-bit side-scrolling game developed in collaboration with actor Henry Cavill. The project utilizes integrated AI tools found in the new Googlebook laptop, specifically designed to assist in game creation through natural language prompts, a method often described as "vibe-coding."
The game's premise references a well-known industry anecdote involving the digital removal of Cavill's facial hair in a past film production. By incorporating this theme, the collaboration highlights the capabilities of Google's latest hardware and software stack in streamlining the game design process.
Alongside the game's release, Google has announced a partnership with the men's health charity Movember. The company has pledged to donate 11 dollars for every session played, up to a total of 500,000 dollars. Proceeds will go toward supporting men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and research into prostate and testicular cancer.
