Google Announces First Five Googlebook Laptops

Google has officially announced the first wave of laptops under its new Googlebook initiative, developed in collaboration with Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Five distinct models are set to launch, marking Google's expanded hardware presence in partnership with established manufacturers.
Preorders for the Googlebook laptops begin immediately, with the devices scheduled to arrive in stores on October 4th. The starting prices range from $899 to $1,299, positioning these new machines in direct competition with Apple's MacBook Air and a wide array of Windows-based laptops.
Each Googlebook purchase will include a 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, featuring 5TB of cloud storage. Additionally, customers will receive three-month trial subscriptions for YouTube Premium, Adobe Photoshop, and CapCut. Google has also committed to providing up to 10 years of software updates for the devices.
