Google Chrome upgrades tab sharing and memory across devices

Google is rolling out new features for its Chrome browser aimed at making it easier to research and study complex topics. Notably, the cross-device tab switching functionality is receiving an upgrade with memory retention.

Additionally, Google is integrating its Gemini AI more deeply into Chrome. New capabilities will enable the analysis of more media types and the generation of interactive study quizzes directly within the browser. The AI can, for instance, summarize content or create questions based on the material a user is researching.

Through these updates, Google aims to strengthen Chrome's position as a tool for information discovery and learning. The broader media type analysis and precise scroll memory are intended to make handling even complex subjects more seamless for users who switch between devices.
