Google expands Dreambeans AI application to India
Google has launched its Dreambeans AI application in India, marking the service's first international expansion. The app generates personalized illustrated stories by analyzing a user's digital activity.

Google has introduced its experimental AI application, Dreambeans, to the Indian market, marking the service's first availability outside the United States. The application processes data from integrated Google services—including Calendar, Gmail, Photos, and YouTube—to proactively generate illustrated stories based on a user’s daily life and interests without requiring manual prompts.
The India rollout adds support for 13 local languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali. While the application originally launched with static illustrations, recent updates have integrated Google's Veo video-generation model, allowing for the animation of specific story elements. The service is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Google cited strong interest from Indian users as the primary driver for this international launch. The company aims to increase the reach of its generative AI tools in India, which currently represents the second-largest internet market globally.
