Google Gemini Adds Dedicated Student Hub with Study Tools
Google is launching a new student hub within Gemini, consolidating research tools, study notebooks, and practice quizzes ahead of the back-to-school season.

Google is introducing a new, dedicated student hub within its Gemini AI platform to support users during the upcoming academic year. The feature centralizes various study aids into a single interface.
The hub includes enhanced study notebooks that now support graphs and images. Students can also create flashcards and take practice quizzes directly within Gemini. The tool can automatically add exam dates and deadlines to a user's Google Calendar based on syllabus information.
Additionally, Gemini Live is gaining a "Deep Research" capability. This allows users to ask Gemini to generate complex research reports and discuss the findings. If the process takes time, users can close the chat and lock their device, with Gemini continuing the task in the background and notifying completion.
These updates aim to streamline information gathering and management for students utilizing digital learning resources.
