Google has launched a suite of new agentic advertising tools and Gemini-powered offerings aimed at helping Indian brands convert customers more effectively on Google Search and YouTube. The move signifies a deeper integration of AI within Google's advertising ecosystem to enhance lead generation and customer acquisition.

A key new feature is the "Business Agent for Leads," which embeds a Gemini-powered chatbot directly into a Search ad. This AI agent, trained on an advertiser's website data, allows users to interact and ask questions without leaving the search results page, with the goal of converting these interactions into qualified leads.

In parallel, Google will require advertisers to disclose the use of generative AI in creating or editing ads. This disclosure will be visible to users on Search, YouTube, and Discover, increasing transparency around AI-generated content. This policy change coincides with the rollout of advanced AI capabilities designed to streamline ad creation and optimization.

Other announcements include YouTube BrandStack, an integrated solution for campaign planning and measurement developed in India. AI Max for Shopping aims to improve campaign performance through better product understanding, while AI Brief assists advertisers in refining ad content and previews based on marketing briefs and brand guidelines.
