Google Photos integrated with Gemini Spark for natural language management
Google Photos capabilities are now integrated with Gemini Spark, enabling users to manage their photo libraries and edit images using natural language commands.

Google Photos' photo library management capabilities have been integrated into Gemini Spark, Google's AI service. This new feature allows users to perform a range of photo-related tasks using natural language. Users can instruct Gemini Spark to edit images, organize albums, or automatically create shared albums from selected photos.
The integration also enables automatic creation of calendar events by identifying information from photos, such as concert flyers. This aims to reduce manual effort in organizing images and information. Gemini Spark also supports more complex workflows to enhance the user experience.
The new features will gradually roll out to eligible Gemini AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States over the coming weeks. The feature currently supports English only. Users will need to link Google Photos with Gemini and activate the Spark feature within the Gemini app to receive the update.
