Google has increased the prices for its Pixel 8a smartphone in the Japanese market.<br><br>The company's direct online channel, Google Store Japan, now lists the 128GB Pixel 8a at a starting price of 92,800 yen. This represents a price hike of 12,900 yen, or approximately 16.15%, compared to the previous price.<br><br>The 256GB version of the Pixel 8a also saw a price adjustment, increasing by 13.59% from 94,900 yen to 107,800 yen.<br><br>Google has not yet provided an official reason for the price increases. The "Spectrum Blue" color variant, exclusive to the Japanese market, is currently out of stock but is also affected by the new pricing.<br><br>The price adjustments took effect on October 1.
