Google has offered a preview of its forthcoming Fitbit Edge fitness tracker, with the device expected to be launched next Monday, October 26th. The company shared an image on X, formerly Twitter, showing the side of the tracker with the caption, "Get an Edge on your health."
Recent weeks have seen numerous leaks regarding the Fitbit Edge, offering insights into the anticipated device. Previously reported specifications suggest the device may feature a 1.34-inch always-on OLED touchscreen. It is also expected to include built-in GPS and a suite of sensors such as an accelerometer, barometer, altimeter, and gyroscope.
Furthermore, the tracker is anticipated to incorporate optical sensors for heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring. The full specifications and pricing will be disclosed upon the official release.
